COURTESY VISIT FROM THE UNITED STATES DELEGATION

PUTRAJAYA, 4 December 2025 – The National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC), led by YBrs. Tuan Ahmad Sazilee bin Abdul Khairi, Deputy Director-General of NFCC, together with NFCC senior officers, received a courtesy visit from a delegation of the United States headed by Ms. Wazirah Allen, Director of International Operations based in Miami, Florida.

The session served as a significant platform for the exchange of insights, the understanding of diverse perspectives, and the exploration of shared areas of interest that can strengthen collective efforts. Through the discussions, new opportunities for collaboration and practical approaches were identified to enhance the effectiveness of support between agencies. This shared commitment reflects a firm dedication to reinforcing the international financial system and cultivating strategic partnerships that deliver positive impact for all stakeholders.

ILLEGAL INVESTMENT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ‘#SCAMALERTSSM’

KUALA LUMPUR, 1 December 2025 – The National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) participated in the Illegal Investment Awareness Campaign ‘#scamalertssm’ organised by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), held at Menara SSM @ KL Sentral.
NFCC’s participation was in its capacity as an NSRC exhibitor to promote the 997 hotline during the programme.

In addition, SSM organised a forum session titled Combating Illegal Investments: Modus Operandi & Solutions. The session covered, among other topics, the latest trends and statistics on financial scams as well as the functions and roles of the NSRC.
The forum featured representatives from SSM, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

KNOWLEDGE SHARING SESSION WITH THE NEGERI SEMBILAN LAND AND MINES OFFICE

SEREMBAN, 27 November 2025 – The NFCC conducted a knowledge sharing session led by YBhg. Dato' Sri Shamshun Baharin bin Mohd Jamil, Director-General of NFCC, together with the NFCC Deputy Director-General, with YBrs. Siti Nor Rafidah binti Saiman, Deputy Director of the Negeri Sembilan Land and Mines Office.

The objective of this knowledge sharing session was to establish a platform that enables NFCC and the State Government to exchange views on the vesting of immovable properties applied for by enforcement agencies to the Federal Lands Commissioner, as well as to address related issues. In this regard, the NFCC provided a briefing on its role in managing seized and forfeited assets, followed by a briefing from the Negeri Sembilan Land and Mines Office on the procedures for implementing the vesting requested by enforcement agencies, including arising matters related to lands exempted from the application of the National Land Code pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the National Land Code 1965 [Act 828].

SEREMBAN, 27 November 2025 - NFCC conducted a courtesy visit led by YBhg. Dato' Sri Shamshun Baharin bin Mohd Jamil, Director-General of NFCC, together with NFCC Senior Officers, to YB Dato’ Muzalmah binti Mustapha, Legal Adviser of Negeri Sembilan.

The purpose of this courtesy visit was to establish a platform that enables NFCC and the State Government to exchange views concerning the vesting of immovable properties applied for by enforcement agencies to the Federal Lands Commissioner, as well as to discuss related issues. Accordingly, a discussion was held to deliberate on the procedures for implementing the vesting requested by enforcement agencies, along with arising matters, including issues involving lands exempted from the application of the National Land Code under subsection 4(2) of the National Land Code 1965 [Act 828].

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL INVESTIGATOR PROGRAM (CFIP) - SHARING OF EXPERIENCE (SOE) 2025

PORT DICKSON, 24–27 November 2025 – National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) organised the Certified Financial Investigator Program (CFIP) – Sharing of Experience (SoE) Workshop from 24 to 27 November 2025 in Port Dickson. The programme was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Sri Shamshun Baharin bin Mohd Jamil, Director-General of NFCC, and attended by officers from various government agencies.

The SoE programme is a key component of the CFIP, providing a platform for participants to share real-life experiences related to financial investigations across agencies. The sharing sessions covered investigative challenges, methods of resolution, best practices, as well as the latest trends and modus operandi in financial crimes. This programme also strengthened professional networks, enhanced operational understanding, and reinforced inter-agency cooperation in financial investigations.
